Questions and Answers for the People of Guyana

The settlers at the compound of the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project were quite aware of the odd spectacle they must have provided for the people of Guyana. To remedy any misunderstandings, they offered tours of Jonestown and would regularly engage locals in conversation and assistance. They also were putting together a pamphlet for distribution to people they would encounter. This pamphlet, entitled “Questions and Answers about the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project” existed only in draft form and is now found in the FBI documents collected at Jonestown.
