Rev. James W. Jones, pastor of People’s Temple Christian Church and executive secretary of the Mayor’s Commission on Human Rights, is vacationing in Hawaii under orders of his physician.
Rev. Jones’ has been on leave of absence following a stay in Methodist Hospital, where he furthered integration of the hospital while a patient. He is expected to return to his duties Dec. 1.
